STEM CELL AND PRP INJECTIONS - Heal the body from within

Regenerative medicine is the new way to treat acute, subacute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions of muscles, tendons, bones, and cartilage.  These conditions include ligament sprains, tendonitis, arthritis, cartilage tears, meniscus tears, intervertebral disc tears, and joint injuries.

The goal is to try to heal, regenerate, replace the tissue.

This treatment may help in limiting pain, improve function, postpone or avoid major surgery.

  • Rejuvenate: Boost the body's natural ability to heal itself.

  • Replace: Healthy cells, tissues, or organs.

  • Regenerate: Tissues or organs, which ultimately regrow

There are three interrelated concepts:

  • Rejuvenation: Rejuvenation means boosting the body's natural ability to heal itself. Though after a cut, one's skin heals within a few days, other tissues and organs don't repair themselves readily.

  • Replacement: Replacement involves using healthy cells, tissues, or organs from a living or deceased to replace damaged ones.  Example: embryonic cells from amniotic fluid, cord blood or bone marrow.

  • Regeneration: Regeneration involves delivering specific types of cells or cell products to a damaged or diseased tissue or an organ, where they will ultimately regrow.

Stem cells have the ability to develop into many different types of cells, such as skin cells, brain cells, lung cells and so on. Stem cells are a key component of regenerative medicine.

Plasma Rich Protein (PRP) — through a process called optimal scaffolding — PRP is one of the key components of regeneration when treating chronic musculoskeletal conditions.

Regenerative medicine holds the promise of the definitive, affordable process to heal the body from within
