After the completion of the pain fellowship, she worked in James Paton Memorial Hospital , Canada as chief of Anesthesiology and Pain consultant for two years where she became the source of many of the success stories in the field of Pain Management.

Philosophy of Treatment

Dr. Antony believes that being a pain physician is a privilege, as quoted by Albert Schweitzer (1875-1965)

We must all die. But that I can save him from days of torture, that is what I feel my great and ever new privilege. Pain is more terrible lord of man than even death.

Dr. Antony believes that it is important to educate the patient and his/her family about the prevailing pain condition and the proper management of the condition thoroughly. This is crucial because chronic pain not only affects the patient physically, physiologically, mentally and emotionally as well as disables them, but the truth of the matter is that it cannot be cured completely.

Dr. Antony believes that a multidisciplinary approach to patients with chronic pain is the best way to individualize treatment plans and optimize clinical results.
